Pre-construction services can happen before or after a plan set is created. It is ideal for us to be involved prior to the plan set being created because we are able to connect a hotel developer with quality architects and engineers. What To Expect With SRK
Step #1:
Our Initial Consultation
After you've reached out to us to get started on a project, we'll gather all the information about what you may or may not need to be done and consult with you about timelines, budgets, and big-picture plans. You’ll work directly with our project managers to go over a project review and a site visit to determine the full scope of the work.
Step #2:
Bids, Project Planning and Purchasing
At this stage, we'll develop a thorough proposal for the project. This is your chance to negotiate the contract and then finalize the contract before we get to work. Once it's finalized, we'll conduct pre-construction reviews and apply for any necessary permits we may need for the project.
Step #3:
The Construction Phase
Finally, work begins! This stage includes daily project supervision and scheduling, weekly onsite construction progress and coordination meetings, a project punch list, and a final walkthrough. Once everything is complete, you'll sign off, and when it's fully accepted, the project is complete.

The SRK difference starts at the very beginning in selecting the right architect and engineering team to design the project plans. Our experience has taught us what works and what doesn’t work. Teaming up with a design team that listens to what the owner wants and stays involved throughout the entire design process is critical to success. Things like using wall and floor types that provide the best sound ratings, making sure the top of the foundation is at an elevation that allows water to drain away from the building and doesn’t require the bottom of the exterior finishes to be buried by several inches of dirt are all repetitive design issues and are things that can be avoided if you have the experience. Being owner-operators of hotels, SRK looks at things differently from other builders. We know what things will cost the property money over time if not done a particular way in the beginning.
